Welcome Elly!
Sorry for falling off the face of the earth - I had a rough term. Anyway, here's a very belated post about the baby blanket a friend and I made for two friends of mine who were having a baby. (No in-progress pics, because I just forgot.) It's all colors of happy bright cotton on the front, and soft blue flannel on the back. It's a super simple pattern, too; it went together much faster than I expected.
